Short answer: upload iPhone screenshots at 1320×2868 px (6.9") and, if your app runs on iPad, at 2064×2752 px (13"). App Store Connect scales them down for smaller devices.
| Display | Portrait size | Needed? |
|---|---|---|
| 6.9" | 1320×2868, 1290×2796 or 1260×2736 px | Required (or provide 6.5") |
| 6.5" | 1284×2778 or 1242×2688 px | Required only if you don't provide 6.9" |
| 6.3" and smaller | Various | Optional, scaled from the larger set |
Landscape works too: just swap width and height.
| Display | Portrait size | Needed? |
|---|---|---|
| 13" | 2064×2752 or 2048×2732 px | Required if your app runs on iPad |
| 11" and smaller | Various | Optional, scaled from 13" |
Apple updates the required sizes when new devices ship. Check "Screenshot specifications" in App Store Connect Help for the current list.
Make these screenshots in your browser. StoreShots puts your app screenshots in device frames, adds captions, translates them with AI and exports Google Play phone and tablet sizes plus App Store iPhone sizes, in one ZIP. The editor is free.
